Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port - vue aérienne This journey along the harbour terminals is an opportunity to get a close look at the huge facilities, cranes and gantry cranes, and learn about their operation. The terminals handling coal, multi-bulk, liquefied natural gas, roll-on/roll-off, and containers will hold no secret for you.
In July and August, you can also see the terminals by boat from the estuary with our discovery cruises.
More than 3,000 ships call every year at the terminals of Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port, linking the Loire Estuary to 400 harbours all over the world.
During the guided tour, you will discover a series of impressive terminals along the Loire river. These terminals are important hubs not only for the regional economy, but also for everyday life: imported energies go through them (natural gas, coal, crude oil…), so do the goods carried in containers.

Departure by bus from the submarine base, Boulevard de la Légion d’Honneur, Saint-Nazaire – near the ticket office.
There are several car parks close by. Bike stands and lockers are available inside the submarine base.
