How to get around

You can easily come to Saint-Nazaire by car, train or plane (via the Nantes Atlantique airport). Once you are here, it is easy to get around thanks to the buses of the local transport company YCÉO which take you all over town. Coaches and regional trains link Saint-Nazaire to neighbouring towns.

  • Vannes: 54 mi / 1¼ hrs
  • Les Sables d’Olonne: 104 mi / 2 hrs
  • Nantes: 40 mi / 1 hr
  • La Baule: 9 mi / 15 min

By rail:

The high-speed train TGV links Saint-Nazaire to Paris several times a day; allow for approx. 2½ hours on direct trains. Via Nantes, rail connections to and from all over the country.

By air:
