  • Need some fresh air? Looking for some fresh air? Why not take to the roads, or rather the seafront, in a wheelchair or pushchair! So, are you ready? We're off! Route accessible to all: follow the white and red markings of the GR34 sentier des Douaniers.

  • To begin with, admire this incredible view of the entrance to the harbour basin.
    Greeted by the west and east piers, the crab claw reveals its latest nugget:
    the foot, jumper and digestive system of artists Daniel Dewar and Grégory Giquel.
    This little (or rather big) nugget has joined the collection of contemporary artworks
    Estuaire NantesSaint-Nazaire.

    A stroll along the waterfront is also a chance to delve into the history of Saint-Nazaire, with the
    the American Monument, commemorating...

    Flowers and plants tickle your nostrils, and your senses are awakened by the plant garden dating from the 19th century.

    Then head off to the fisheries of Port Désirée, these little huts mounted on stilts.

    Then discover the Villès Martin lighthouse.

    Finally, there's nothing like a dip in the sea. Handiplage, the beach at Villès Martin, with lifeguard surveillance
    in summer, offers seahorses and tiralos for safe swimming.
